KELLY-MILLER MEMORIAL DAY CMB GATHERING (FROM DENNIS GILLI)

The Terrell M. Jacobs tent, Ring and the Dennis M Gilli Ring of the Circus Model Builders entertained the Kelly-Miller Circus Monday, Memorial Day with a Kentucky Fried Chicken lunch. After a ring meeting, the members all attended the afternoon performance. As usual, Kelly-Miller just gets better and better all the time. Great, clean looking equipment, a beautiful Big Top and one of the best performances of any tent show in the country. Everyone had something to like as so many of the old time circus favorites are in the show. From Casey McCoy's Tigers, the festive Aerial Ballet to the animals, riding act and hilarious clowns, it's a show for all the family to enjoy. Great music, clear announcing by John Moss and a fast as lightning prop crew all make this a show John Ringling North II can surely be proud of. Some pics enclosed. Denny Gilli

Hagen Bros was owned by Howard Suesz who also owned

Clyde Bros Circus which was a major provider of Shrine Circuses.

Rober Couls, who later went on to own Famous Cole Circus,

was General Manager.

And Joe McMahon was General Representative for the show.

One year Joe toured the Kelly-Miller Circus for Dorey Miller.
