When the Kelly-Miller rolls into town, the lot on which the Big Top will be erected is already marked off to indicate where the big tent, the pony rides, the animals and the cookhouse will be placed. On the Cirque website, the show is described as: a harmonious fusion of dance, acrobatics and live music. It’s a tribute to the life and music of Elvis Presley. Nostalgia, modernity and raw emotion provide the backdrop for his immortal voice and the exhilaration and beauty of his music.
Viva ELVIS focuses on the essential humanity of the one superstar whose name will forever be linked with the history of Las Vegas and the entire world of entertainment: Elvis Presley.
Aria opens December 16th.

Greetings Circus Fans & Model Builders,
Mark down February 6, 2010 on your calendars for a "BIG CIRCUS DAY" in Columbia, SC. As we have done in the past we will attend the Royal Hannerford Circus at The Jamil Shrine Center for the 10:00 show that morning.
Now here`s the "Great News", The Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Red Unit is also playing Columbia that weekend, how often does this happen, especially here in the south. I can only remember one other time. We can see Hannerford in the morning and then catch the afternoon Ringling Show after a lunch gathering, how can you pass up the opportunity to see 2 major circuses in 1 day, and both shows are within 8 miles of each other
Then, if you are still in need of a "Circus Fix" you are all welcome to join together at my home for more "Cutting up Jackpots" looking at photos, films or showing of models or anything of interest you may have,You are also encouraged to bring items to sale or trade. Please feel free to pass this along to any other fan or friend that you may know that would like to attend.

These pictures were taken in New England.I've always had a special place in my heart for this show.
I guess you might say this is what sparked Bill and My interest in the Circus.
The Hunt Show always played on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia
either in the Spring or Fall.
The Show was based out of Florence, New Jersey.
There's more to come in the next few days!
