Playtime Free Circus - 1960's


Then only infor I have on this set of Pictures is Playtime, 1960's.
I beleive this was a show owned by New England's Billy Burr and his Dad before Him.
Back in the ;late 50's and early 60's these time shows came about to take advantage of all the new strip shopping centers that were popping up around the country.
Probably one of the most famous were Paul A. Miller's Free Circus, Dub Duggan's Free Coircus, and Billy Burr's, which went on to play Fairs.

  2. I might have made a mistake since I've been thinking about it. I beleive Billy's show was called Billy Burr's Funarama. We definitely do need some comments on theis one!

  3. Billy's show was funorama his dad owned playtime shows ed burr
    I moved playtime shows when I was 12 no osha then
    and was with funorama in the 80's touring the cape in july then to the maine fairs which were all circus jumps (over night) close in cumberland sat night at 11:00 pm open in fryburg sunday at 10:00 am
    the show moved like clock work flying bobs crew could have the ride down in 2 1/2 hours and back up in about 3
