Preparations were under way Wednesday on The Circle in Georgetown for today's Return Day celebration. Local police and the Secret Service coordinated the effort in anticipation of Vice President-elect Joe Biden making an appearance. (Chuck Snyder photo)This is a tradition, called Return Day, held in Georgetown, Delaware every election year.
Just about all the candidates for public office show up, both winners and losers, for a parade,
a possum roast, and speech making in the town square.
Bill and I worked this one year and the people that come are unbelivable!
