April 10 Shows in Frostburg sports center will feature aerialists and animals

— FROSTBURG — The 2010 edition of the Ali Ghan Shrine Circus will be held April 10, with performances at 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. in the Harold J. Cordts Physical Education Center at Frostburg State University.
Ali Ghan Shriners have been sponsors of the circus in Frostburg for 55 years, giving an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy good clean entertainment at a reasonable price while helping the Ali Ghan organization cover some of its expenses.
Children 12 years old and underwill be admitted free of charge, with adult tickets available in advance at a discount. Tickets also will be available at the door.
Advance tickets may be purchased at The Book Center and Potomac Valley Pharmacy in Cumberland and The Corner Market, 7-Eleven, J-R's Custom Screenprint & Embroidery and B&B Meats in Frostburg.
The New Jordan World Circus acts include Vincent Von Dukes Exotic Felines, Miss Kathy Hanneford and her Mid-Eastern Camels, performing elephants, five motorcyles in a giant steel globe, Astounding Ascant with balance and dexterity, the Toscano Troupe seven-person aerial act, the Chicago Boys acrobatic team, Marinof Duo-High Flying Acrobats and Kathy’s Dogs.
