May 28, 2010 - The Grafton Lions Club has announced that advance tickets to the Cole Bros. Circus, which comes to Grafton at the end of June as part of the town's 275th anniversary celebration, will be available for purchase at five locations beginning Saturday, May 29. There is a $5 discount on all adult tickets purchased in advance.
Coupons for children (age 12 and under) good for FREE general admission seating when accompanied by a paid adult are also available at all five outlets. Child coupons can be upgraded to reserved seats for an additional $3 and VIP seats for an additional $5.
Circus performances will be held on Friday, June 25, Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27. Show times are Friday 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m..
All performances will be at the Wyman-Gordon Company grounds on Worcester Street in North Grafton. Performance highlights include: clowns, tigers, acrobats, trapeze artists, exotic animals, elephants, daredevil drivers, human cannonball. There will also be a food concession.
Beneficiaries of the proceeds from the circus will include Grafton charities and community events; Lions Sight and Hearing Conservation Treatment Fund; Lions District 33A Sight Mobile; and NEADS for the Assistance of Combat Veterans (Assistance Dogs).
