SAN BERNARDINO - Here's a juicy tidbit for you - the 95th annual National Orange Show Festival sweetens Memorial Day weekend with fun, food, games, carnival rides, a circus and lots of live entertainment. The city's official salute to the fruit (this year's theme is "A New Shade of Orange") celebrates the area's citrus heritage with a fresh, new attitude.
GCF Events in collaboration with Ray Cammack Shows are partnering as the new event producers.
Derrick Vasquez, the Orange Show's director of catering and special events, said people will be pleasantly surprised by the festival's changes.
"They are making a really nice environment here and making it easy for families to come with the new low prices," Vasquez said.
Attractions include headliner entertainment, a carnival, the Jest in Time Circus, Balloonancy, Great American Petting Zoo, Fables of the West, Safari Sadie, Pony Rides, GASCAR Animal Races, juried art exhibition and lots more.
All live entertainment and attractions are free with paid admission.
