It's hard not to love the circus.
Just ask the pope.

Four acrobats known as Fratelli Pelligrini (which means Pilgrim Brothers in Italian) performed for Pope Benedict XVI and a group of his advisers this week. At one point, the acrobats took off their shirts and formed a human tower in front of the 83-year-old leader of the Roman Catholic Church.

The performance was part of a convention of circuses that the Vatican had organized. After the acrobats finished their stunts, the pope clapped and stood to greet the performers.
