Circus performers coming to Valley

Saturday, Apr. 16, 2011, The Fresno Bee The Carson & Barnes Circus will bring nearly 100 performers and animals to the central San Joaquin Valley in April and May. The circus will have two shows, at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., in its city-block-long tent at each location. The show will travel to Porterville on Thursday, Hanford on Friday and move to Turlock, Madera and Fresno May 16-18. Performers are from around the world, and acts include aerial trapeze, high wire, motorcycle acrobatic teams, jugglers and clowns. The show will also feature more than two dozen exotic and domestic animals, including elephants, camels and horses.
