Cirque Du Soleil Cancels More Shows
April 25, 2011CINCINNATI -- Cirque du Soleil announced the closure of more performances Monday, because of flooding at Coney Island.
Organizers for "OVO" said that Tuesday and Wednesday's performances are canceled because of the ongoing flooding.
The circus was forced to cancel its performances beginning on Friday as the rain continued without letting up.
Cirque du Soleil said it hopes to resume its performances on Thursday.
Organizers said people with tickets to the canceled shows will be contacted directly and given the option to exchange their tickets for a remaining performance.
"OVO" is scheduled to run through May 15.
