Elephants walk the streets of Downtown Tucson

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey arrived by train this morning in Downtown Tucson.The circus arrived on June 28 and unloaded at 5th Avenue and Toole. Over 60 kids from the Tucson 4-H clubs escorted the elephants through the streets of Downtown to the Tucson Convention Center for a watering.
Opening night of The Greatest Show on Earth will be at the Tucson Convention Center on Thursday, June 30.
You can join Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey for the All Access Pre-Show Power Up Party! As long as you have a ticket, you can show up to the party an hour before showtime for free. Families can walk on the arena floor, meet performers, try on costumes, learn circus skills and even see a painting elephant.
Seats are reserved and available at the Tucson Convention Center Box Office, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
There will also be a CircusFit seminar at the Children’s Museum from 10am to 11am on Friday, July 1.
Local kids will be able to get fit with the stars of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey! The event is open to the public and will be held at the Children’s Museum, which is located at 200 S. 6th Avenue.
