The Shrine Circus 2011, Carson-Barnes Circus are in town -

Acrobats, elephants, big cats and clowns will abound as two circuses roar through the Valley this weekend.
* The Shrine Circus 2011 will fill Qwest Arena, 233 S. Capitol Blvd., with spellbinding and death-defying trapeze acts, and tigers, bears and elephants, oh my! There also will be an-old-fashioned circus parade through Downtown Boise at 10 a.m. June 25. Shows are 7:30 p.m. June 24, and 4 and 7 p.m. June 25 and 26. $12 general, $6 kids 3-11, free for 2 and younger at www.elkorah.org.
* Under the traveling big top of Carson-Barnes Circus, one of the largest tent circuses around, you’ll find motorcycle acrobats, pictured, and feats of animal and human daring and artistry. This weekend, the tent will be in Caldwell, Emmett and Payette.
