Short Film 'No Joy' Features Abandoned Amusement Park
"No Joy" is an eerie short film by Mike Petty about Joyland Amusement Park in Wichita, Kansas. The park was in continuous operation for 55 years until 2004 when it closed due to financial difficulties. Petty re-visited the park and found it covered in graffiti, with many signs missing. The film is a disturbing look at a childhood experience re-visited when there's nothing left to visit.
