ARCADIA - Circus Vargas is staging its animal-free show at Santa Anita Park for the first time through Dec. 5 in the racetrack's southwest parking lot.
The circus, which started its 11-day run on Thanksgiving Day, provides entertainment, lighting and music inside its 147-foot diameter blue and gold big-top tent.
The current edition of Circus Vargas, which includes aerialists, acrobats and comedians, takes spectators on "an artistic journey, encompassing the cultures of the world" in a series of vignettes depicting a traveling circus performer, according to Circus Vargas.
The show does not have mechanical rides, games of chance or sell alcohol. Read more: http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/news/ci_19416508#ixzz1etv5jxJG
