Jim Earhart arrived as did Jorge Pages and Joe Frisco,Sr. Joe had been requested several days earlier to secure various
medications from local Vet to replensih the show's supply. The animals had beautiful grassey areas to graze and take their
naps adjacent to the Arena Bldg. There were 6 camels, 5 poines, 2 horses, and Daisy and Bambi the elephants. The five lions and two white tigers stayed in their cages and enjoyed a lovely chicken dinner. Vicenta Pages had recently deivered Freida and Jorge's a grandchild, so Colleen was on that show to work the cat act for the final two weeks of their season. I also met Iverson
Acero, known as Bibi the clown. I had met his brother Alex and Mom last year on C&B. The crowd loved the show.
The elephant
and pony rides ($5.00 each) and concession stands (most items $2.00), did a brisk business.
