The London Olympics still are a few months away, but if you want to witness some of the best jumpers in the world, you have to wait only a few days.

Calaveras County Fair's Jumping Frog Jubilee takes flight Thursday and runs for four days, culminating in May 20's grand finals, in which the best of the best compete in front of an expected crowd of 2,000 people at the fair's amphitheater.

Whether you take part in the competition or are just there to watch, "you can expect to have the time of your life," said Ron Dwelley, director of special events for the Calaveras County Fair. "It's one of the most unique events in the whole state of California."
