BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. -- The Troy Fair reopened to the public Friday morning. The fairgrounds were shut down around 6 p.m. Thursday following the severe weather that traveled through the region.
Fair officials say electricity has been restored to the grounds.
Several vendors lost merchandise or had tents blow away but most were able to get up and running Friday.
"Particularly the ones that the tents, they blew away like popcorn with the wind that came through here. Some of them got new tents and are back in business, but some of the merchandise that were under or in the tents were damaged," said Brian Canfield, Troy Fair Vice President.
The Troy Fair runs through Saturday.
