One of the new exhibits at the NYS Fair will be the Monarch Butterfly Garden. Butterfly farmer John Dailey took the butterflies out of hibernation in the Horticulture Building on Tuesday August 21, 2012. The 165th edition of the fair opens on Thursday August 23, 2012.
