YORKVILLE,WI — The Piccadilly Circus will be held Wednesday through Monday, Aug. 29-Sept. 3, at the Racine County Fairgrounds, 19805 Durand Ave.
This edition of Piccadilly Circus is called “Blast!” because of its comedy and thrills.
Animal acts include racing camels, a 9,000-pound Asian elephant who rolls across the circus ring on a 3-foot ball, a herd of African and Asian elephants and dancing zebras.
The Romanian Olympic High Bar Team performs acrobatic feats 80 feet in the air. The 1½-hour show features lights, music and special effects in a brand-new, climate-controlled European Big Top with theater-style seating.
Tickets cost for adults cost $8.75 on Friday and $15 on Saturday. Sunday and Monday tickets are buy one, get one free. Special offers and advance tickets are available online, www.thefuncircus.com.
The gates open an hour before showtime for general admission seating, Circus Fun Zone, camel and pony rides and petting zoo.
