ORLANDO --
The sounds of hand saws, drills and forklifts are in the air at the Orange County Convention Center.

"They have already started putting up everything in the outdoor space," says Jan Addison, the deputy general manager of the Orange County Convention Center.  "It's the best of both worlds."

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, IAAPA as the association is known, stages their  annual expo each November.

"You can see everything here from popcorn to double looping roller coasters and everything in between," explains Jack Mendes, the president of Volusia County-based Bob's Space Racers Group.

Orlando is IAAPA's home through 2019.  On average, 25,000 people can attend and deposit more than $47 million dollars to the local economy.

"Everybody is out here.  We put a lot of time and energy into making this show good for ourselves and our customers," comments Jason Mons, General Manager with Utah-based roller coaster and ride manufacturer S&S-Sansei.
