African-style circus to perform at the Ross Ragland Theater Jan. 25

Logan, Utah--acrobats, comedians, tumblers, singers, contortionists, percussionists and limbo artists will take the stage when Cirque Zuma Zuma performs at the Ross Ragland Theater on Friday, Jan. 25.
The troupe is an African-styled circus, performing an act similar to that of Cirque du Soleil. Past the high-flying stunts and syncopated dance moves, the group will bring traditional African performances to Klamath Falls for an energizing cultural experience.
From Egypt to South Africa, the acts depict the wide variety of culture present in the African continent. The South African gumboot dancers come from a Cape Town street dance that got its name from the performer’s Wellington boots.
The group gained fame in 2011 after performing on the television show, “America’s Got Talent,” where Cirque Zuma Zuma made it to the finalist round. They toured Europe, Australia, and then brought their traveling circus to the United States.
