Family hopes beach circus has a ring to it

Imagine acrobats in body-hugging leotards performing death-defying acts in an Oceanfront parking lot.
That’s the vision of a Florida-based circus family that’s seeking to bring its acrobatic event, called Cirquesa-Dreamquest, to Virginia Beach for this year’s tourist season.
Noe España, who is part of five generations of performers, said he was attracted to the Oceanfront because of the beautiful beaches and the tourists – and a lack of competition.
