Circus Moves from Shrine Mosque to JQH Arena this Weekend

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Circus is back in Springfield, but there's a new venue for this year's 3-day show.
This year's Shrine Circus, scheduled from April 5-7, 2013, has a Broadway theme -- including an original new score, new costumes, and new feats, many never attempted in the US previously.
In years past, the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Circus was held at the Shrine Mosque at 601 E St. Louis Street.
"This year, we're bringing the full three-ring show to Springfield," says Ashley Hawkins with Agente Entertainment. "The Mosque was not quite large enough."
