In the coolness of the morning before the sun chased the dew off the grass, the workday began with unrolling the heavy tent. Later that same day, more than 1,500 people could enjoy the performance under the Big Top. This is a record of that creation.

While photographed in 1982 with a Nikon using only a 55 mm lens on color negative film, this show was produced MANY years later. The photographer carried an inexpensive tape recorder on his belt throughout the day with the plan of later referring to the recordings to narrate or add titles to the photographs. However, the actual conversations and sounds were so very interesting that they became the background.
