WAYLAND, MASS. — The Moody Street Circus is a world-class European-style family circus with a multigenerational circus legacy.

Co-founded by Czech circus star and fifth-generation circus performer Sacha Pavlata of the Flying Wallendas, and his wife Melinda Pavlata, second-generation circus and dance artist, the Moody Street Circus performers will captivate and astound on Saturday, June 15 at three one-of-a-kind shows at Wayland’s 375 Opening Day Celebration (10:30 a.m., 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.).

Tickets are $10. Click here for more information.

Sacha Pavlata will walk the high wire and perform high on his legendary cloud swing, an act he famously performed in the Big Apple Circus in the 1980s.

Melinda Pavlata will perform her signature act of balancing a sword on a dagger gripped in her mouth while ascending a ladder. She will also perform an aerial hoop act with her daughter Zoe.

The Golden Winged Princess Sara Cabral will bring beauty, grace and wit to the performance, and to the acrobatic hula-hoop dancing and static trapeze performances.

With comedic antics and jaw-dropping circus acts that have been transmitted through multiple generations, the Moody Street Circus family is sure to transport all back to our youth (or in our case, the 1890s) when everyone patiently waited for the circus to come to town!
