Harrison County kicks off area summer fair season

CADIZ - With summer having arrived on on Friday, the days of county fairs can't be too far off. A Harrison County Junior Fair Day will be held July 1 in preparation for the 166th event that will begin July 2. This is when a queen will be crowned and 4-H members who have worked for months on still projects and livestock will receive awards for their efforts. The flag will be raised at 9 a.m. July 2, and then plans that have been formulating since early winter will be put into place.
