Nicholas Montoya, organizer of Mesquite Days, announced that the four-day carnival will be held at the Virgin River Convention Center (the former Mesquite Star) parking lot on Sandhill Boulevard.
Royal West Amusement is the sister-show of Inland Empire Shows, which has produced previous Mesquite Days carnivals.
The two shows, each traveling with over 30 thrill rides, have different games and attractions so this year’s carnival will bring a new experience for the carnival attendee, according to Todd Keenan, carnival show manager.“Royal West Amusements is the best value around and the safest carnival company in the business,” said Montoya.
“Two rolling shutdowns and inspections are done on each ride every full day while the show is running, and the shows have been awarded safety plaques from the national companies who insure them.”
According to Keenan, his company was one of the first carnivals to offer the Pay-One-Price (POP) ticket, a Player’s Bonus Coupon, and Carnival Bucks--all designed to give the festival attendees a good deal.
A limited number of advance sale POP tickets are available now during open hours at the Mesquite Recreation and Parks Department administrative offices located at 100 W. Old Mill Road. POP tickets will be on sale until 3 p.m., on Thursday, May 5, or until sold out. Tickets are cash only.
