1987: Bring the kids: "Elephants, beautiful women and all the trappings of the 'big top' are coming to Belvidere tomorrow at the firemen's football field at the end of Market Street when the Great American Circus performs under sponsorship of Goodwill Fire Co. No. 1. The public is invited to watch the circus set up at 7 a.m. The show features a guest appearance by Tiny Tim."
