A circus worker died after a bike accident in Queens Saturday, according to a published report.
The New York Post says the man, in his early-30s, was riding his bike in Fresh Meadows when he peddled into the driver's-side door of a parked car on Union Turnpike at around 8:10 p.m.
A witness, Jackie Brocchini, 42, of Whitestone, said the bike's "handlebar went right through his jugular."
"The blood was pouring out like a fire hydrant," he told the Post.
The victim, who was a lighting technician for the Big Apple Circus, later died at a Queens hospital, according to Post sources.
The circus is being held at Cunningham Park through the weekend.
The victim has not been identified.
