Joshua Macaroni is visiting his father's birthplace this week as the Macaroni family representative for their business, Family Attractions Amusement Company, which will bring a new midway to this year's Greene County Fair. His dad, Dominic Macaroni, was born here some 55 years ago when his own parents happened to be in Greeneville working at the fair with a different carnival company.

Greeneville, TN--The rides and concessions filling the midway at the 63rd annual Greene County Fair this evening will be a little different from those in years past.
A new carnival company -- Family Attractions Amusement, of Valdosta, Ga. -- has contracted to set up shop for the first time in Greene County.
The company rolled in late Sunday afternoon to begin getting everything ready. But this will not be the first time the family that owns this company will have spent a week in August at the Greene County Fair.
In fact, Dominic Macaroni, the company's owner, said the first time he visited Greeneville was the day he entered the world.
