THOSE wacky Nitro Circus clowns, who even give death a scare, will be cartwheeling their way into Rockhampton on June 8, next year, and cheating death with their incredibly risky stunts.
And fan favourite and extreme wheelchair athlete Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham (USA) will excite and inspire with his courage and skill on the 50-foot ramp, and fans can also expect to see the most spectacular choreographed riding on the planet.
Nitro Circus Live, billed as the world's greatest live action sports show (by themselves and why not, they are good enough to have bragging rights) will tear up the ground at Browne's Park . . . well, actually they won't damage the hallowed turf one little bit according to a management spokesman from Browne Park.
"The guys will be performing at the park right in the middle of our rugby season and there is no way that they would be able to perform and do their stunts here if there was any risk of that happening," the spokesman said.
"After performing their amazing stunts the guys have had specially designed mats and jumps equipment and a whole lot of other gear designed to go into sensitive arenas such as ours and not cause it any damage and so we welcome the boys with open 'throttles'."
Rockhampton fans will get see to all kinds of mayhem, as the world's best action sports athletes in FMX, BMX and skate take centre stage.
Then, prepare to be stunned as the 40-man strong crew strap themselves into the crazy Nitro contraptions and launch themselves off the 50-foot high Nitro Gigant-A-Ramp.
Nate Adams (USA) and the only rider performing consistent double backflips, Cam Sinclair (AUS) will be performing, as well as multiple X Games medallists Blake "Bilko" Williams (AUS) and Sydney's X Fighters Champion Josh Sheehan (AUS).
Some of the best BMX riders in the world will also be involved in the madness, including double front-flipping Aussie Andy Buckworth and James Foster (USA), the only man in the world who is regularly throwing down the triple backflip.
