Bethel,OH-- The Kelly Miller Circus, founded during the Depression, is marking another milestone this year as it celebrates its seventy-fifth anniversary. Founded in 1938 by Obert Miller and his sons Kelly and Dores, this traditional tented circus has seen the passing of over 3/4 of a century and still offers the same great family entertainment it presented in its humble beginnings.

Thanks to the sponsorship of the Bethel Lions Club the all new 2013 edition will be in Bethel on Monday May 20 for performances at 4:30 & 7:30 at the Bethel-Tate School Bus Grounds on the west side of Bethel on St Rt 125.

This year’s show features elephants, tigers, horses, zebras and a cast of international circus stars under a beautiful circus big top. The tent raising itself is a great free show that will take place about 8:30 a.m. and the public is invited to come out and watch.

Purchase your tickets in advance of show day and save. Members of the Lions Club will be at the Bethel IGA from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. May 18 and 19 selling tickets. You may also purchase your tickets at Community Savings Bank and Kate’s Carry Out prior to circus day. Advance ticket prices are $10 for adults and $6 for children under 12. The price goes up on circus day to $15 and $7.

Enjoying a day at the circus means a lot more than just old fashioned family fun, the event is a fundraiser for the Bethel Lions Club.
