    Sarasota Memories: I may be wrong but I believe back in the 50's you drove out from the Sarasota on Fruitville Road made a left at Orient Road for Ringling Winter Quarters...Captain Hyer's place was on the right same side as Ringling..Orient is now BENEVA ROAD.... Note: Bobby Jones Golf Course sign.....The airport was west of Orient and Winter Quarters east.....All you see now is a plaque regarding the 200 acres that Ringling Winters Site was.

    Sarasota Fair just ended on Sunday and Serge Coronas BIG TOP goes up next for Sarasota Shrine Circus - April 3-4...
