Frisario's Italian Ice Cream is another vendor changing up a classic. Their spaghetti ice cream is new to the Florida State Fair.
The dessert is vanilla gelato pressed through an Italian extractor to shape the ice cream into spaghetti noodles. The gelato is topped with strawberry puree, which resembles marinara sauce. Then it's sprinkled with white chocolate shavings to look like parmesan cheese.
The idea came out of Italy, according to Tony Dietz, the creator.
"Its my own recipe," he said. "[It was made] according to the taste buds."
