4 Rescued Bolivian Circus Lions En Route To SFO SAN FRANCISCO ―
Four lions rescued by Animal Defenders International following a recent ban on Bolivian circus animals will be arriving at San Francisco International Airport on Monday.
The animals will then travel to a sanctuary in San Andreas, which is run by the Performing Animal Welfare Society. They will live in a natural habitat at the sanctuary.
CSI actress Jorja Fox will be participating in the rescue operation, which was funded by TV personality Bob Barker, according to Animal Defenders International.
