A singing Ringmistress and the Big Apple Circus Band creating the ringing melodies of memories to last!

Renaud Doucet,who has performed as an actor, solo dancer,ballet master,and choreographer in international dance companies,joins this season’s creative team as director and choreographer.André Barbe provides the scenic imagination and exquisite costumes, drawing on his experiences at the National Theatre School of Canada. Multi-talented Guy Simard,with over 350 production credits in lighting, as theatre consultant or technical director, returns as lighting designer. Four-time winner of the MAC Award for Technical Direction, JP Perreaux returns to the circus as sound designer.
Joining the Big Apple Circus as composer is mathias rüegg,founder of the Vienna Art Orchestra where he wrote over 350 compositions and arrangements. Music Director Rob Slowik leads the Big Apple Circus Band.
The Company The Big Apple Circus annually presents an all-new show featuring renowned circus artists from around the world. This year's performers come from America, Bulgaria, China, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mongolia and Russia.

Blowing alot of smoke. Come on. This show is gradually going down the tube and here they are bringing in production peoplr that are totally unecfessary and at expense they certainly can't afford and with a list of ho-hum acts of no credibility. I note they are even talking about a porcupine that has done nothing yet and am sure the horse trainer is busy with practising all new theme, tricks and I suppose the Costume dept. can come up with some original wardrobe, By looks of act rundown there isn't much to costume. Writing a "script" for what. Rehearsal for sound and lighting. What a joke. I have been injvolved with some of the finest put together circuses in America and generally it took about an hour or so to rehearse the whole thing and wat great shows they were. Think Hanneford, Zerbini, Bauer, Big E. Wonder what is happening in their two summer and winter quarters. I am sorry but being an old pro I cannot justify this bullshit. They don't even put on a "spec" and there are a variety of ways to walk thru a "finale" takes about fifteen minutes. Glad I got this off my chest. I was there and can remember some fine BAC productions but as of late alot of smoke.They have never had to sell tickets. What a free ride.
