Host of the Circus Vargas, Jon Weiss, balances a shopping cart on his chin while workers erect a tent for their performance at Cal Expo August 14, 2012. Later he would take off his fancy outfit and get down and dirty in the heat to help put the tent up. The circus, featuring a variety of human performances, including the flying trapeze, clowns and motorcycles, will hold performances from August 16-August 20. The large tent going up today will seat 1500 people and will be air conditioned.
