Scottish date: Nitro Circus Live will be at The Hydro in December.
8 April 2013
Daredevils will be pushing their skate and scooter skills to the limit performing tricks on drinks coolers, Barbie cars and shopping trolleys when the Nitro Circus Live comes to Scotland for the first time.
The action sports spectacular will take over The Hydro on Sunday, December 1 with 40 athletes taking part in the stunts alongside ringleader Travis Pastrana.
The Scottish date will be the fourth stop in the UK leg of the tour, which includes shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
Fans can expect to see freestyle motorcross, BMX and skate stunts and the death-defying hole-in-one trick where riders launch 50ft into the air off the Gigant-A-Ramp and attempt to land inside an inflatable zorb ball at the action-packed event.
The 2013 show follows the brand’s first tour of Europe in December 2012.
Nitro Circus Live’s managing director Michael Porra said: “We are excited to be bringing Nitro Circus Live’s over-the-top stunts to a whole new set of fans in Scotland.
“This show is like nothing fans have ever experienced before and I know they’ll be blown away by the non-stop action and crazy antics that make up the show.”
Nitro Circus tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, April 12 and are priced between £30 and £99.
