The Carson and Barnes Circus will be presented as "The World's Biggest Big Top Show" at 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Elmer Thomas Park.
The two circus events will include special appearances from Katy the Pygmy Hippo and Alex the Clown, who is portrayed by Alex Acero from Colombia, a third-generation performer in his family,
starting at the age of 8.
Franchesca Cavallini will be performing the song "I Am The Circus" at both showings. That song was written and produced a year ago by Jacque Hollander especially for Cavallini, who is also also a trapeze artist.
Other highlights will include a petting zoo, elephant rides, camel rides and pony rides.
Advance tickets  $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 2-11  are available at the west entrance of McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris, during regular box office hours, 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4:30 p.m. weekdays.
