Altho it has nothing to do with the circus I have driven pass the Tom Mix death site on Arizona 79 about 20 miles south of Florence. It is a cobblestone pile with a metal cutout shape of Tony the Wonder Horse on top of it. It usually has bullet dent holes in it as anything standing still will be used for target practice out there. Tom Mix was one of the few authentic cowboy western actors.
