CROSSROADS VILLAGE, FLINT, MICHIGAN (HARTLAND SMITH)

This is a exact scale of the Parker Carousal at Crossroads Village in Genessee Co. MIIt was hand built by Ed Milam to detail, including the paintings which he photographed and transfered to the model. All the horses were handcarved by Ed and then painted exact to copy the originals. Ed spent hours designing and building the drive mechanisim with parts from a auto-teller machine and a motorcycle. As you can see the carousal also has the same number of lights as the original. In addition the horses are decorated with mm size full cut gem stones.
The rounding board in this picture reads: C. W. Parker "World's Largest Maker of Amusement Devices" Leavenworth, Kansas
