DETROIT (AP) — The century-old Detroit Shrine Circus has found a new home.

The Detroit Free Press reports Tuesday that the Hazel Park Raceway north of Detroit will play host to the circus March 18 to 21. The circus lost its longtime home at the Michigan State Fair Coliseum after the cash-strapped state eliminated money for the fair and the facility closed last year.
The circus will be under a heated big-top tent on 20 acres at the raceway, with fenced and lighted parking.
Circus Director Chuck Baer says Detroit’s is the oldest Shrine circus in the U.S. It started in 1906
