Chef Nirobe Lowe Sr.of Cajun Cabin the French Quarter helps build part of a 340-foot oyster po-boy that stretches down a whole block of Bourbon St. Saturday March 27, 2010 as part of the fourth annual Louisiana Oyster Jubilee. Prepared by more than 30 of New Orleans' renowned restaurants, the colossal po-boy was stuffed with 5,500 locally harvested Louisiana oysters. The Oyster Jubilee is the biggest oyster party in New Orleans, presented by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board and New Orleans Musical Legends, Inc. (NOML). The Jubilee celebrates oysters as an integral part of the unique culinary culture of Louisiana.
