History series to discuss railroad circuses

Learn about railroad circuses that visited the Rogue Valley from 1884 to 1958 in presentations from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave., and noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd.
The presentations will be titled "When the Circus Comes to Town."
The events are open to the public. They are part of the Windows in Time lecture series sponsored by the libraries and the Southern Oregon Historical Society.
