Whether it's pig races, a seal show, or a deep fried Oreo, you can find it all at the Sarasota County Fair.
The fair opened Friday at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds, located off of Fruitville Road and Ringling Boulevard, with a packed crowd rolling into the evening.
From high flying thrills on the Midway, to chances to get up close to farm animals, there's something for everyone.
The fair continues through March 25. Admission is $8 for adults, and $4 for seniors 55 and older, active military, children 6-17 and free for children 5 and younger. Free gate admission is offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Cash only at the ticket booth. An ATM is located inside the Robarts Arena lobby.
Beer and wine sales available at the Budweiser area.
Individual tickets are sold as well for rides at ticket booths. Wristband specials for ride all day vary by day.
