Is this the same band organ that was with Royal American Shows for ever?ReplyDelete
I'm not really sure.ReplyDelete
I beleive J.D. Floyd owned it.
And used it on his carnival Cumberland Valley Shows.
It is! I remember Billy Baxter talking about the redo after they bought the organ. I sure miss Billy coming to the Texas State Fair every year. Really a nice guy. Did you ever work around he and his wife Jane? I think she resently married one of the Vavonas. (hope I spelled that right)ReplyDelete

I only worked around Cumberland Valley in Valdosta when they played the fair for Little Richard.
It was a FIRST CLASS Operation!
They used to jokey around the pup trailers like it was a railroad show!
