ALLEN BROS CIRCUS (FROM BOB COX)

Dick , here's some photos of Allen Bros. Circus, I just caught them one day, a few years ago, I think it was San Antone, or maybe Devine, Texas. I forget, didnt have time to see the show, besides I was with another Circus owner at the time and his jealousy over competition was creating a green eyed monster. But I thought it was a pretty neat, clean looking show, I noticed they even had showers on the show. I presume your feeling better seeing as how you're blogging again. Bob

  1. Allen Bedford had a good small size circus but what I never could figure why he put the working mens sleeper right out in front. It was a nice looking sleeper and very long.
Most shows have the sleeper out back where it belonged.
Allen Bros played many Texas dates and there was always a war going on between them and the Gopher Davenport shows.

  2. I agree with your comment except for the fact that everyone knew it was Earlynn that really was in charge.
