Allentown, PA, 1961: Talk to the animals: "Animaland, U.S.A.," billed as America's largest traveling zoo, opened a three-day stand at the 25th Street Shopping Center. "The show features wild animals and regular circus amusements. Animals on view include monkeys, a trained seal, tigers, bears, elephants and various smaller animals. The elephants are being used to pull gaily-colored circus wagons carrying passengers. The animals are on display in circus wagons. Admission to the zoo is free. The only charge will be for the elephant ride."
