Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, John Kennedy Kane is the only member of his family to join the circus. He ran away with the circus over thirty years ago and has since been a concessionaire, magician, fire-eater, clown and—his favorite role—ringmaster. He recently added playwright/actor to his résumé as writer and star of his one-man comedy play, My Life in the Basement. John has traveled throughout the United States and Canada with more than fifteen different circuses. He never imagined his journey would bring him to the Big Apple Circus, and he is honored to join in the role of ringmaster.
John wishes to thank his family and friends for their unending support of his life-long Big Top dreams.
