The Big Apple Circus will present “Legendarium” in its annual Bridgewater engagement at TD Bank Ballpark from Thursday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, March 17. The show hails back to when circus traditions were born with acts that would have had villagers chattering for days.
Performers from around the world create memories at the Big Apple Circus under the artistic direction of Guillaume Dufresnoy for the 2012–13 season show. The circus includes clowns, solo trapeze, acrobatics, a steel hoop, aerial straps, aerial silks, rhythmic juggling, horse, pony, and dog acts, and a performance on a swaying slack wire, among other features.
Performances begin Thursday, Feb. 28 and run for 28 shows through Sunday, March 17, under the Big Top at TD Bank Ballpark, home of the Somerset Patriots, off Route 287 in Bridgewater. Tickets start at $20 and are available at bigapplecircus.org or by calling 888-541-3750. The circus box office opens Wednesday, Feb. 27 in front of the Big Top. Hours are: Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday-Tuesday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
